Compressed Natural Gas (CNG) is a colorless, odorless, flammable, and non-corrosive gaseous hydrocarbon, primarily composed of methane and ethane. The global CNG vehicle market is expected to reach 19 million units by 2018. Over the next few years, an entirely new infrastructure of CNG fueling stations will be built across America.
There are design and safety requirements unique to CNG infrastructure due to the physical properties of high pressure gas. Many CNG Applications we are seeing are operating at 5,500 psi. There is a need for CNG specific Instrumentation and Valves.
